$17.55 scale fish, $3.48 catfish. Sold to Mr. Griffin. Worked at Mrs. Bass made $7.50. Won't go next Friday as they will be gone all next week. Bought calf feed # , a pink begonia 15 cents to go with the white. Peggy went to band, Tricia played with Susan Adams. Bought groc., went library. Ray cut the hedge, clippers broke. Water heater just won't turn right, been heating on stove, is a lot of trouble. Parks man was out few weeks ago, didn't do any good. Warmer today, sunny and nice.
Peggy tells me that they didn’t always have a water heater when she was a little girl. Myrtle would heat water on the stove and then add it to the tub so they could bathe in warm water.
In the early days of summer, I’ve heated water on the stove to add to the plastic kiddie pool so the water would be warm enough for the kids, but that’s just a couple of times a year. I can’t imagine going through that routine on an almost daily basis!
