Friday July 2

Peggy had a nice birthday. Went to rodeo parade in S.C. the girls rode double, Destry behaved well. Mrs. Nunn and Buddy rode with them. Saw Willa Mae (Mann) Hawkins. Visited her after parade, she has 2 cute little boys. Peggy’s party was really nice, Jonna and Dawn came, Naomi Smith, Debbie, Kathy and grandparents. J.eO. gave her Friendship Garden Bubble Bath, Naomi crochet ballet outfit for Tammy, Kathy a red purse, $1.00 and 2 yds. striped denim for Mimi. Tricia a necklace with her name. From us a paint by number set ($2.26) a blouse ($1.40) from me to wear in parade, hose to start her collection (39 cents) pjs ($1) shorts, blouse ($1.46) (pjs, shorts, blouse for Tricia also) embroidery material, pattern, thread. $5.00 from Grandpa G. and $2.00 from Keeners. So she really had a good b. day. Ray put 4 shrimp in L. Myrtle, killed 1 gator 7’, came home 2:30. Had a little rain near end of party.

This bubble bath was produced by Shulton. Originally founded in 1934 and purchased in 1990 by Procter & Gamble, Shulton is best known for the Old Spice brand.

Tammy

Tammy Doll was a fashion doll introduced by the Ideal Toy Company in 1962 to compete with Mattel's Barbie doll. Tammy Doll was marketed as a wholesome, all-American teenage girl, and she had a variety of outfits and accessories available for purchase.
