Friday June 11
Rain and more rain, the roads that were so dusty are muddy, water in the ditches. What a change a week of hard rains can make. VBS Prep day from 8:30-10, we had 7 (98 in whole school). Pretty smooth, need to do lots before Monday. Washed clothes, they’re hanging in the barn. Ray cleaned out the back room loft in barn, was a rat’s nest, maybe they'll leave or we can kill them now. Cleaned in the other part, spider webs and cleaned everything. Girls were willing to get ready for the piano. Rained almost day, stormed for a while. Visited Nesbits tonight, enjoy them. Patty gave Peggy a pretty blue dress, sure hope of fits.
