Friday June 18
Last day of VBS and it was a happy time for both children and workers. The program tonight was fine, all did well. I told something of what we did and the children sang "Jesus Loves Me." Peggy’s can is very pretty and Tricia made some lovely things. A rooster book holder, crown, flower vase with an orchid in it, placemat and spatter painting. Hard, hard rain this afternoon. Ray had $19.00 including yesterdays 7 lbs. Stopped at Dady’s on our way home tonight so the girls could tell and show.
