Monday June 14
First day of VBS, rode with Cary. All went smooth, only 9 children in my dept., 154 in school. Aunt Jessie and a couple of her friends came about 1. Visited them some. Went back p.m. to call Ann, phone disconnected, guess they're moved to Calif. Girls brought Destroy down, R. rode him. Had to take him home at midnight. Those horses of Barkers were down here and he just went wild. What a mess. Rained afternoon.
