Saturday Aug. 21
Went to Orlando, spent all day. Took typewriter to Leo Stewarts. Went to Louis VW, talked to them. Drove a new red VW to the Painted Horse and had dinner. Food was all good, cost $3.50 for the 4 of us. I drove around in Azalea Park, sure love it. Took it back and had another talk. Said we’d let them know. Filled out forms. Went downtown, complained to Sears about not getting all of my order. Went to Colonial Plaza. Ray went to movie “Operation Crossbow” $1.25. Girls really shopped. Then went to Millers, finished shopping. They bought purses, billfolds, slips, sox pants, nail bit, polish, blouses, notebooks, paper, pencils, lunch box etc, etc. Ray got a rain coat $1.67 very nice, Aqua Velva, Spray Net & Bic pens for me. Had a delicious expensive supper at Morrison’s $5.64 but was so nice for a change. Stopped at Piersons, no one there called salesman but he didn’t come. Stopped to see about Kathy, came home AM, had to enlarge her bladder opening. Stopped at Dady’s, he got home about 4, had a good time, good to see him. Mispah, Herbert and Herbie, Brian came Fri. nite. Everyone tried, home about 10:30.
