Went to S.S. and church. Dady had dinner with us, baked pork roast, sweet potatoes, macaroni. Girls went home with him, helped clean his boat and get things ready. Then I went and got his suitcase ready and got things together. Then Ray helped put the motor on and tag, lights, top etc. I made him some sandwiches with the pork, boiled some eggs, and put some cupcakes in also. So maybe he’ll get off to a good start and have a good vacation. Rained and blew after lunch, rain most of aft. and still raining tonite. Ray had $15.00, gave Cecil a bass, gave us a pkg. of lamb chops.
