Late for SS. Hectic! 13 children, Bea absent. Wore my new green dress. Had lunch and all took a nap, girls and I were worn out. Took Destry home, rode him up there. Tricia took a terrible fall, could have hurt her bad, she’s bruised, head cheek shoulder and hip, right side, and a bad sprain lift wrist. He saw 2 other horses and ran from the oak trees to the front, she tried to stop him and really hung on but he was moving too fast, fell almost at the gate. She was so frightened, and so was I. The boys (Steve B. and Beel boy) caught him, Peggy brought him in and rode him quite a bit more, behaved fine. Tricia did get back on, she didn't really want to, I led him around. Ray, Calvin, Preston went hunting, killed 3, Ray made $25. They ate supper with us, went back to Deland.
