Ray’s Dady, Mama, Kathy came out evening. Last day for Ray’s Jury duty, sure glad, paid $15⁶⁰ 3 days. Put tar on roof to stop leaks, got load of odd plywood scraps for boxes, patching free. Elec. typewriter coming better.

Everyone sleepy. Cold, windy. Plugged in all electric blankets. Put girls to bed 7:15, won’t be far behind. Peggy’s arm is better, still swollen. Mrs. T. rode, paid parking. Wore coat today. Ra
