Tues. Jan. 12
Cloudy, cool all day. Ray picked up corn lines $10.00 put out 4 more. Washed one load clothes at Dady’s, swept his house. Picked some kumquats, preserved some whole. Ray ran A. lake traps.
Kumquats are a small citrus fruit that grow in warm climates. While kumquats are native to China, they thrive during the winter months in Florida when there’s plenty of warmth and moisture. They’re slightly tart with a sweet skin. They can be used in jams and preserves or eaten raw like an orange.
