$23.84 L. Liveoak, put out 4 more there. Dry, warm, cool enough for light blanket at nite. Cleaned the spare room, washed and did little else. Have a bad sore throat and don't feel good at all. Peggy’s field trip to McCoy tomorrow was cancelled.
McCoy
The FAA code for Orlando International Airport, MCO, perplexes many visitors. The MCO comes from McCoy Air Force Base, which is where Peggy hoped to go on a field trip in 1965. The base, which operated from 1940-1947 and then from 1951-1975, was a training base during World War I and was later used as a front-line strategic air command base during the Cold War and Vietnam. Before Disney, the base was Orlando’s biggest employer.

These days I travel so often, I often refer to the city I’m going to by the airport code. My other favorite incognito code is YUL for Montreal.
