Wednesday Aug. 18

Ray had $32⁰⁰, put 4 more E. Lake. Hot again. Vacuumed house, mopped. Girls each made a cake, frosting also (Jiffy mixes) very good. I mowed some pathways around Herndon’s house and yard. Is too thick and high to do more. At least they can walk when they come back. Pigeon still here, we fed it bread.
