Wednesday June 16

Hot, humid, few small showers. VBS not so good, Mrs. La Follet talks so she really upsets things. Must have some changes tomorrow. Ray had about $6.00 this AM. from A. Lake. Put out 4 may fly lines here tonight. We all racked. I mopped, washed, ironed, moved furniture and got things ready for tomorrow. Ray took his fish to K. Bought Betty’s reclining chair for $3.00. It’s not the best looking but is sure comfortable, and huge. Tricia cleaned her room. Peggy cleaned middle room. Wanted to go to church tonight, had a meeting about the new church, but just couldn't.
