Wednesday June 2

Hot, dry, windy, this drought is terrible. Several wells dry. Tom Whaley’s and Beels, others pumping sand. Really need some rain. Washed several loads clothes, finished Tricia’s lavender dress. Worked on VBS material, notes, hand work. Went to meeting, tonight with Carolyn DeBord, got quite a lot done, she took almost all of the handwork to prepare, 5 items, must make 18 of each. I'll prepare the workbooks and several other hand work projects. She's going to be a very good worker I believe. Young Patricia Salley will work with me again, she was so good last year. I think we'll be fine in spite of all the real young ones we'll have. Went to church after meeting, rode with Cary. Ray left right after lunch with Bub (our truck) to gator hunt. Came back around 12, 1 8' gator.

VBS

VBS stands for Vacation Bible School. I attended this program every summer growing up and today my daughter attends as well. I made my profession of faith at Vacation Bible School at Neptune Road Baptist Church in Kissimmee when I was 7 years old. To learn more about how VBS got started, click here.
