Should have gone to Bass's to do the screens and windows but didn't make it. Washed, cleaned house, worked in the yard, went up and fed the calves & Destry. My hibiscus are getting pretty again, need fertilizer though. Destry still eats the red one, regular as can be. Little camphor tree full of sprouts, all allamanda blooming. Destry’s hoof split (rt. back) others rough. Ray and girls went to K. am, Peggy took her suitcase to stay with Betty till Friday. They swam in Debbie’s pool while Ray went to fish house. Tricia will stay when Peg goes to Eau Gallie. Paid Betty $3.00 for the chair. Ray got a much needed haircut. Put out 4 may fly Lake T. Pat (?) from Kenansville 2 boys came put out 3 fly, 3 mixed lines, slept here. Brought us a foot tub of muscles. Went to Daddy’s, he has a bad boil or something on his left ear, is swollen and looks bad. I tried to open it but no luck.
