Wednesday June 9
More rain, stayed cloudy all afternoon, hard rain storm. Everything looks green again. The lot looks fine, Destry ate my Cassia tree down, also a lot of my red hibiscus - can't win I guess. Anyway, grass is growing. Anne Markins called AM, said we could have some peas, beans and peaches if we’d pick them. So we did, big box of peas, girls shelled lots of them, 2 bags peaches and enough beans for dinner. Sure was nice. Dady ate supper with us, had a nice bass. Put one in the freezer. Also 4 containers (small) of peaches, just sprinkled them with sugar. The Rask children left today, were here a week or so. Ray put 4 may fly lines out in Lake Lizzy. Watched Billy Graham tonight.
