Busy day. Took Tricia to Brownies at 9 am. Came home and Faye came with her income tax, she left at noon. Picked Tricia up at 3 at the Rodeo grounds. They had a Girl Scout, Brownie rally, she sure had a good time. Then went to Kathy’s party, it was nearly over, lots of kids there. Picked up Tricia’s boots, new heels were $1.00. Went to the dime store and got some money orders. Sears, Ins. and K. bank. Bought Denise a necklace for $1.00, her birthday 11th, Peggy wanted to get her something and she gave her those shorts sets. Came home and Ray went up and Herbie put spark plugs, points and clutch master cylinder bit, cost $8.79 with Ben's discount at Persons. Ray and Dady had a run-in this morning, went up to butcher the hog, he started about working all week—messing with hog on his available time and much more. Guess Ray felt like he'd had it, any way for the first time in over 13 years he said a few things too. So Dady is on the war path, guess he'll just have to get over it. Anyway the hog was killed and Ray took it to K. IGA store. Also got a haircut. Had a long letter from Ann, they are going to Okinawa in June, said she'd send Tricia a jewel box when they get there. She’s still sick, are getting shots and passport, boys & Jim fine.
