Warm, dry, few dark clouds but only fakes. Girls swam a few minutes this afternoon but came back in, said that green scum was all over. Washed their hair, mine also. Aunt Mispah, Uncle H. and Jeanette’s baby came last nite. She brought Brian down for a few hours this afternoon. His a lovely child, 8 months old, pretty as can be. Faye brought my bassinet back. Ray went to town, trailer not ready. Got some fiberglass screen for one door $1.73. Dady had cow trouble again, got his back in, left Lightening out. Whaleys helped. Ray bought a M.D. card and look to his mama. Baked this morning, oatmeal cookies, brownies, oatmeal, apple sauce bread. Chased the mouse out of the kitchen was a riot for few minutes. But it's out of the house, hope we never have another one in here.
