Friday Aug 13

Hot, no rain. Ray had $13⁰⁰, Bud put out right beside him. Put out 4 more A. Lake. I worked at Mrs. Bass $7.50. Picked up feed at Mallets for Dady’s calf. Bought few more groc. Man came selling 1yr. sub to K. Gazette for $3. Finally took 2½ lbs fish $1.50. Peg and Vel rode all morning, Ray put a tie down on Destry it really helped. They rode down to the cove along beach by Uncle Herberts. Peg rides will, this week sure was good for both Peg and Destry.
