Saturday May 15
Still to rain, dry and windy all the time which makes it much worse. Ray went gator hunting all morning. The girls and I cleaned house. I washed and ironed. Started my green crepe dress, worked on it most of the afternoon. Ray took the girls up to ride Destry, he put a couple of buckets of water on each plant. I fixed supper and they went to the Little League ball game to see Jerry play. Peg came home with Faye, Tricia went to K. with Ray, went to Ben's, Betty's and his parents. Betty (or Lewis) gave us a bird cage and stand, they need painting but are fine. Called Dady, he didn't have much to say, Peggy talked to him a few minutes. Sent a card to Emmons family, late but didn't know if they were coming back. Felt better, my nose is sore and peeling.
