Ray left about & 7 o’clock, he and Bub and Calvin Peterson went gator hunting in a swamp behind L. Gentry. Killed - 8-7-12-4.
Girls and I went to S.S. and church, although I had to stay in the nursery with one little boy during church, the girls went. Came home and pump had been running, was hot and only 8 lbs. pressure. So called Earl Lamb came about 3, worked till after 7. Put 21 ft 1” pipe in the well, with a float valve and new ¾” pipe to the pump. Was sure a mess, tore up sidewalk etc. Then wouldn't build pressure and a plastic part, ventura, got hot and out of shape from the pump running so long so many times. So he took the pump, is going to Orlando and will get the part, come back today. We visited Dady an hour or so after lunch, took the girls back and we all took a shower when we realized we weren’t going to get any water. Brought some back. Ray bathed in the lake, he was sure dirty and tired.
