Tues. Jan. 19

Not as cold and windy, Ann didn’t freeze last nite. Sent Ann b.day card, long letter, 5 pictures. Baited 4 corn while Ray racked 2. Put them out here after dinner. Sure warmed up. Moved all my plants out on the porch. Ray rode Destry from 2 till the girls came, we all rode a little down here, he sure knows Tricia and I! He does so good for Peggy, she’s really beginning to ride well. Both girls rode him back to the pasture about 5:30. I ironed some, but didn’t feel like I did much today, been wasting too much time lately, need to sew, clean out cabinets, etc. Don’t know if Sayres are coming or not. Got real calm about dark. Ray went to run A. lake traps. Broke drags, came back.
