Saturday Sept. 4

Washed, ironed, made Peggy’s dress, prepared, cooked rest of pears for freezer, 2 big pots. Took the cores, peels to Destry and calves. Gave Dady S.C. and K. papers, letter from Ann. Ray and girls racked, R. went to town for hair cut. Had venison hind quarter sliced–delicious. Sewed through my finger. Ouch!
